Kimberly Wang Dey- An Exceptional Woman Entrepreneur & Equestrian Rider

The people of Honolulu are fortunate to have such an exemplary woman entrepreneur in Kimberly Wang Dey. She is the illustrious daughter of Mr. Charles B Wang, well-known figure in the region. At present, Kimberly Wang Dey is the CEO and founder of Number Eight or N8. Apart from being very popular for her analytical skill and business acumen Kimberly Wang Dey spends most of her spare time helping underprivileged children and riding horses.

Kimberly Wang Dey is very passionate about horses and she is herself a proficient equestrian. She has participated in many prominent tournaments both in American and aboard. As an equestrian she has won many prominent awards. Kimberly Wang Dey holds the distinction of being the first American Asian Woman to have won the World Champion Amateur Hunter Rider Completion for the last two years in a row. She has also established her own horse breeding business where she personally looks after her own horses. Many these horses have participated in many equestrian tournaments both in the national and international arena.

Her love for equestrian sports has helped her create a unique scholarship program for horse lovers in association with The American Quarter Horse Association. It provides an opportunity to budding equestrian to harness passion for horses and gain scholarships to colleges. In the financial world, Kimberly Wang Dey is currently on the Board of Advisors at Aina Koa Pono LLC. She is in-charge of the critical operations of the LLC and is responsible for carrying out its activities effectively.

Apart from business and equestrian activities, Kimberly Wang Dey is also engaged in charity. She goes to great lengths in helping children and the society. She participates in many cross culture events and utilizes her spare time with community service. She is among the rare breed of women entrepreneurs who passionate about contributing to the well-being of society. Kimberly Wang Dey is also the Vice President of The Charles B Wang International Foundation. Her father established this reputed foundation. The foundation donates to various organizations in the region. These include ASSETS School, the Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii, Le Jardin Academy, Special Olympics Hawaii and the Kapiolani Medical Center.  Kimberly Wang Dey has personally donated for the expansion and development of various educational projects.

Kimberly Wang Dey’s outstanding entrepreneurial skills and business acumen had helped her make positive contribution to her company and region where it is located. In the financial and business world, she has won a number of awards. These include “40 under 40” in 2003.
